Singer Katherine Brooks was another musician who was interested in my light painting project. She directs the Phoenix Choir in Edinburgh, belongs to a Funk band and who knows how many other things she does. Eventually she decided on a jazz theme with her pianist Adam.<\/p>\n

We met at Adam\u2019s place. The room with the piano is just beautiful. And it is then I realised how to properly do light painting in a nice interior. I first started to light paint everything, but it dawned on me that the final photo would look flat. The room with the lights on had a great atmosphere, it was just that Katherine and Adam would be really dark. So I decided to take a frame of the room with the lights on and light paint Kate and Adam with the lights off, as well as add some accents of light in the room. I\u2019m very glad I did.<\/p>\n
