Illuminating the Night: Light Painting with Navali

A while back, I collaborated on a light painting shoot with the talented musicians of Navali, transforming a living room into a canvas of light and shadow.

The technique of light painting has always held a special allure for me.
Using a small LED light, I lit up different parts of the scene one at a time and then combined all the frames in Photoshop.

I made sure to frame the shot with the ceiling light reflection in the mirror. I used the ambient light in the room as a backdrop so I wanted to show where that light came from.
