Food Photography au Naturel: Boteco Do Brasil

I very much enjoy looking at high end food photography. The level of skill and production is just incredible.

Food is not my specialty, so I don’t have the skill (or the studio space) to produce such images. But for the “run of the mill” restaurant, simple, clean images of their menu items is all they need. In any event that is the most their budget allows for.

I did this assignment for Boteco Do Brasil in Edinburgh, a Brazilian bar-restaurant featuring latin dance evenings with live music. The photos were taken with natural light on wooden tables in a shaded area at the back of the restaurant.
